We hope 2026 is going well for you so far. Below are a few updates from the team. Thanks for reading.
Choose the path that’s right for your school

When you visit the Monster Phonics shop, you’ll now see two pathways: Classic and Universal.
Classic is the original Monster Phonics you already know and love. Nothing is changing here.
Universal includes adapted character designs and some stories updated to reflect a wider range of contexts from around the world, while keeping the same programme structure and teaching sequence.
Both pathways follow the same Monster Phonics programme and are fully supported.
A quick reminder that single book ordering is now open, following your feedback. If you’d like a quote for a specific title, just get in touch.
We’re excited to share that a new Word Builder tool is arriving very soon.
Take a look at the short video below to see what’s coming.
This tool is the first of several we’re planning to develop over the next six to nine months, supporting different aspects of literacy. Ideas we’re exploring include a handwriting tool and a punctuation tool but first, we want to get this one right.
We would really value your feedback:
If you love it, please tell us. That genuinely encourages us to do more.
If there are small tweaks, questions, or ideas, we want to hear those too.
And if something isn’t there, we’re always happy to explain our thinking.
Please send any feedback to:

We’ve updated your Teacher Dashboard to make room for everything Monster Phonics offers and everything still to come.
You’ll now see a clearer, more flexible dashboard that brings all your programmes, tools, and resources together in one place. We’ve also introduced dynamic naming of year groups, so schools in different regions see language that reflects their own context.
Head over to your dashboard to explore what’s new.
Join us for a short online demo of the Superhero Spelling Programme (ages 7–11).
