Beginning in preschool (for 2-to-4-year-olds) with our Foundations in Phonics Programme, our approach ensures rapid development in speech, language skills, and phonemic awareness. The Phonics Programme is designed for the first three years of school (covering the 5-to-8-year age range). It’s a systematic phonics programme that includes our colour-coding system and memory cues, designed to help all children overcome common obstacles encountered when learning phonics.
At 8 years old, children are introduced to the KS2 Superhero Spelling Programme (for 8-to-11-year-olds), which features a cast of superheroes used as powerful memory aids to help children master key spelling rules and concepts. It accelerates learning by allowing children to learn new graphemes by using monsters to group graphemes for recall and to provide an easy and fun memory cue for children.
