New! Updated ‘How-to’ Video Library

Our enhanced How-to Video Library is full of clear, practical videos that walk you through key parts of the Monster Phonics programme. Covering teaching strategies, group reading, and targeted support, it’s ideal for coaching, mentoring, or simply brushing up on best practice—whenever it suits you.

We’ve also refreshed our Nursery training, making it even more accessible and effective for early years teams.

Reflecting on Inclusivity in Our Monsters and Books

 

This academic year, we’ve carried out the most comprehensive review of the Monster Phonics programme in our history. Every part of our digital resource library has been updated and improved.
Your feedback has played a vital role in this process, and you’ll continue to see these improvements when you explore the website.
We also took the opportunity to reflect deeply on inclusivity. With a growing base of schools in both the UK and internationally, we’ve been thinking carefully about how to represent a broader view of the world. This includes our books, our characters, and the world they live in.
You’ll hear more about this in the next Monster Mash. In the meantime, you might have noticed more skies appearing across our materials – a gentle reminder that we all live under one sky. We’re working hard to ensure the Monster Phonics world is inclusive, fun, safe, and just the right amount of quirky.
