Wherever you are reading this, we hope you have had a great break and that the term ahead treats you kindly.
This is the longer, start of year Monster Mash, and it begins with a thank you. Monster Phonics is taught in classrooms the length of the UK and in schools around the world, from small village primaries to large international schools, and what they share is the energy their teachers put into getting children reading. Being alongside you while you do it is the part of this work we enjoy most.
Like Angry Red A, we never want to stand still, so there are new developments on the way. Almost everything we build begins with a school telling us what would help.
The new Nursery site. Rebuilt completely, and we think it looks gorgeous. Do write in and tell us what you make of it.
A new handwriting tool. On your MP dashboard now, joining Word Builder.
Ten new games. Simple and quick to play, publishing over the next few weeks. The first eight focus on grapheme and phoneme recognition, with more to come 
for blending and spelling. Schools asked for these, so here is our first offering, and we would like your thoughts before we refine it.
Superhero Spelling. A new classroom tool goes live shortly for teachers to use in lessons.
All feedback is a privilege for us, negative or positive. It is how things get better.

Our Parent Information Sessions return this term. They explain phonics plainly to families, introduce the Monster Phonics approach and show parents what genuinely helps at home, without asking them to become teachers. Strengthening the link between school and home is central to what we do, and these sessions make that easy.

It may sound cheesy, but a monster thank you for the energy and the belief you bring to this. Teaching a child to read is one of the few things in a school year that changes everything else for them, and you do it every day.
