September has been buzzing with exciting new developments at Monster Phonics. We know there’s a lot for you to get familiar with, so in the spirit of keeping things short and sweet, we’ve put together a helpful FAQ to support you.

Q: We’ve created classes on the tracker, but we can’t see other users or some people’s data. What’s going on?

A: When the main admin sets up users, make sure the school name is entered exactly the same for each account. Even a tiny difference can cause this issue. Double-check the school name, and that should fix it! We’ve also gone through the system and linked names to accounts wherever possible.

Looking ahead: We’ll soon be adding a mandatory postcode/zip code field during setup to help reduce variation and make things smoother!

Q: Can you make the PPTs downloadable again, please?

A: Yes! We’ve heard you and are working on putting them back into the scheme. While we had our reasons for the change, we know your sanity matters more! 🤪

Q: How can I skip to a specific slide in an embedded PPT?

A: Just click the button that shows the slide sorter. In regular PowerPoint, this can also be done by clicking on ‘Slide Sorter.’

Q: Why can’t I hear sound or see animations on the PPTs?

A: We’ve removed most sounds and animations to ensure compliance with the Reading Framework and to make everything Ofsted-ready (or inspection-ready, for our international friends).

Q: Where can I find the link to the Training Calendar? What’s the password?

A: CLICK HERE to view the Training Calendar. Simply click the pink ‘book now’ button next to sessions you wish to join.

Q: I missed the event! Can you send me a recording?

A: No need to email or ask for it! All recordings are uploaded to the training section of our website within a day or so after the live session. They can be found here: https://monsterphonics.com/resources-training/training-content/recorded-webinars/

Q: Are the activity books ready?

A: Yes, they’re ready to order, and we’ll begin dispatching them at the end of next week.
