This is the fifth in a series of 7 Handwriting Books that follow the Monster Phonics programme. It is available in a set of 10 x Step 2 Book 1 books, ideal for your weekly handwriting lessons.
The first of 2 books aligned to the Year 1 scheme of work. This book builds on letter formation knowledge and skills whilst complimenting the phonics steps. Each week, the children will practise forming the weekly spelling words. At the back of the book you will find an extra opportunity to revisit capital letters. The sitting, climbing and hanging cats support the children in recognising ascenders and descenders in playful ways.
The books support handwriting and letter formation required to write all KS1 graphemes and spelling rules. There are 4 Handwriting Books aligned to the Reception part of the program, 2 Handwriting Books aligned to Year 1, and 1 Handwriting Book aligned to Year 2.
