“As I faced the challenges of disadvantage, a second language background and dyslexia within my family, I was determined to make a difference. As a teacher and in research, I wanted to tackle how to make learning easier. After identifying the stumbling blocks to learning to read, I set out to create a solution that would empower both educators and children. Through our approach, we are giving all children the best start in their learning journey.”
