This is the second of 7 Handwriting Books that follow the Monster Phonics programme. It is available in a set of 10 x Step 1 Book 2 books, ideal for your weekly handwriting lessons.
Step 1 Book 2 develops letter formation knowledge and skills. Lowercase letters are now introduced with dots and directional arrows to support letter formation. In Week 9 children are given the opportunity to meet uppercase letters through gradual, scaffolded stages. Throughout this book the sitting, climbing and hanging cats also introduce children to ascenders and descenders in playful ways.
The series support handwriting and letter formation required to write all KS1 graphemes and spelling rules.There are 4 Handwriting Books aligned to the Reception part of the program, 2 Handwriting Books aligned to Year 1, and 1 Handwriting Book aligned to Year 2.
