She is the founder of Phonics Mantra, a literacy centre based in Pune since 2014 successfully implementing synthetic phonics with all learners including children with special needs.

With an impressive 20+ years of teaching experience, Ritu Verma has seen tremendous progress in students using the synthetic phonics approach.

Ritu’s commitment to her students extends far beyond the classroom. Sonia is a passionate educator and phonics trainer with over 12 years of experience working with young learners. Holding a B.Ed and TESOL, TEYL certifications, she specializes in teaching English reading and writing to children. She is also an accredited storyteller from Kathalaya, using storytelling as a powerful tool to engage and inspire young minds. A certified Montessori teacher, she has successfully incorporated Montessori principles in her teaching, fostering independent learning and curiosity in children. She has also volunteered extensively with organizations to teach English to underprivileged children in rural parts of India, focusing on improving literacy rates and educational opportunities. Along with her co-trainer, Meera, Sonia has trained educators globally and played a key role in implementing Phonics curriculum in schools, particularly in Pune and other Indian states. Together, they have equipped teachers with the tools and strategies to enhance early childhood literacy through structured phonics programs. Her unwavering dedication to shaping the future of young children and her impactful contributions to teacher training makes her a recognized teacher/trainer in Phonics and Grammar education.

My name is Aiswarya CT. I have a Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication and Masters in Education from Amrita school of Arts and science and Azim Premji University respectively.  I have 3 years of experience in teaching English – which includes being an English language facilitator for  5-6 year-olds and as a freelancer in multiple organisations. During this  time, I have also had the opportunity to facilitate a transgender community for three months. Moreover, I have worked in a government home as a facilitator for basic conversational English for young adults aged 16,17 and 18 years. I am also a certified storyteller and a theatre facilitator. During my free time I enjoy dancing, illustrating and cooking.

Seethalakshmi Nagarajan is a Dedicated, resourceful and goal-driven professional educator with a solid commitment to the social and academic growth and development of every child. An accommodating and versatile individual with the talent to develop inspiring hands-on lessons that will capture a childs imagination and breed success. Her graduation is in English, Psychology and Economics, Nursery Teachers Training and Montessori Teachers Training.

She started her career in 1987 as a kindergarten teacher with Sri Saraswathi Vidhya Mandira school and has been working as a dedicated teacher with different schools, colleges and corporates such as Hymamshu Jyothi Kala Peeta, Sindhi High School, Poorna, Prajna Educational Centre, BGS National Public School Bannerghatta, Presidency Group of Schools and Amber Valley Residential School in Chickmaglur.

She is accustomed to working in a multicultural environment that emphasizes inclusion of different types of workshops for children, young adults and teachers. She has conducted many workshops in teaching phonic skills through team building, using theatre games in a classroom setup, improvisation while teaching, creative use of props and costumes for teachers. She has vast experience in developing curriculum as well as conducting teach training and parenting programs.

She is a Warm and caring teacher who wants all children to be successful learners and works to create a classroom atmosphere that is stimulating, encouraging, and adaptive to the varied needs of all her students she has also trained in government schools for teachers in Tamilnadu districts of Hosur, Krishnagiri, Villupuram, Salem, Thiruvannamalai, Districts of Telengana Sangha Reddy district, Bobbili, Vizinagaram and Vishakapatnam, Orissa Nayagradh and Keonjhar districts.
